Check out Chatsworth Georgia. We have a huge selection of carpet and yarn mills who are always needing help. (It's hard work but pays real well) We have a wonderful school system and Dalton state college is only 3o minutes away. We are a small town with only three or four red lights total, so if you are looking for some place laid back and downhomey check into us. Dalton or Chatsworth

1. Alpharetta
2. Roswell

someone was going to mention them, sooner or later.

Don't know whether these would be top 2 except for traffic. It really depends on where you'll be working. Determine that first and then find a place to live that makes the commute tolerable. I like West and North Cobb myself.....Acworth, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Marietta.

How about Hampton or Locust Grove in Henry county? I also would say it depends on what kind of work you do, but I know of two single mothers that moved to Hampton and McDonough.
