GOOD NEWS FOR THE HOSTIPALS IN COLUMBUS THE MEDICAL CENTER IN COLUMBUS HAS JUST BROKE GROUND ON A 25 MILLION DOLLAR EXPANSION PROJECT ON THE HOSTIPAL.AND NEXT SAINT FRANCIS HOSTIPAL IN COLUMBUS HAS JUST ANNOUCED A 35 MILLION DOLLAR EXPANSION PROJECT ON THE SAINT FRANCIS HOSTIPAL.THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR COLUMBUS. NEXT AND I KNOW THIS IS AN OLD UPDATE BUT FORT BENNING IS GETTING A NEW HOSTIPAL THE CONTRACT WAS 333 MILLION DOLLARS TO BUILD THE NEW HOSTIPAL.THE AWARD WAS MADE TO TURNER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC.OF HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A 745,000 SQUARE FOOT HOSTIPAL.ALMOST TWICE THE SIZE OF THE CURRENT 393,000 SQUARE FOOT FACILITY.THE NEW HOSTIPAL WILL SERVE SOILDERS.MILITARY RETIREES,AND FAMILIES OF THE FORT BENNING COMMUNITY.THE DESIGN IS SPLIT INTO 2 WINGS-A CLINIC AND A HOSTIPAL SECTION,EQUIPPED WITH TWO PARKING DECKS FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF MEMBERS.BELOW IS A PICTURE OF WHAT THE HOSTIPAL IS SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE WHEN ITS FINISHED.IT LOOKS LIKE ITS GOING TO BE A GREAT HOSTIPAL FOR THE NEW COMMUNITY.

Very old news....
Both hospitals are LONG overdue for renovation and administrators admit it will barely get them up to recent standards.
Medical Center and St Francis rated the worst possible for mortality rates on the Hospital ratings site(both a 1).
ICU at St Francis has been described as third world.

Where did you get your facts this hostipal expansion is big news for columbus and will do columbus some good it will give both hostipals twice as more space and more room.
