July is around the corner. Looking like it will be Oxendine vs Barnes.
Not much to get all slobbery over, but we suffered under Barnes once, don't think we need to do it again.

I wasn't here for that administration....he's the only Gov I missed over the past 30 years. I left in 1992 under Zell Miller and returned in 2007 under Perdue.

My feeling is someone who had 4 years in office and failed to achieve all the things he is promising now is not to be believed. If he failed to realize those plans with a majority of his own party in control of the state legislature, how will he do with what will most likely be a Republican majority in both houses?

Do you really think John Oxendine is going to be any better? I don't know...

Don't know, but sometimes it's better to take a chance on something new, rather than repeating the same mistake. Barnes has a record of achievement (or lack thereof) as Gov. I guess if as a voter you feel he did a good job the first time around, then go ahead and re-elect him.

Yes I do. Granted I am not thrilled by any of the choices but Barnes had Georgia in one heck of a shape.
I notice now his TV ad's are nothing but him bringing Utopia to GA.
After listening to it one would think WOW! Barnes I was a disaster but Barnes II will bring:
World Peace
A zero unemployment rate to GA
Teachers with six figure salaries
Zero Forclosures
The citizens in a circle singing Kum Ba Ya!

Roy! Oh Roy! How we going to pay for all this Utopia?
Oh never mind, been there done that with you already.
You can't polish a Turd.

Where did you get those numbers from? I am voting for McBerry and didn't even see him up there yet every poll I have seen that has been done has him surging towards the front.

Roy Barnes should be a slam-dunk for the Democratic candidate. On the Republican side, I think it's going to be Handel or Oxendine, with Ox having a slight edge.
