"Global warming deniers remind me of......."

NODISINFO - Uncovering the Truth (Beware of the word "Truth" as used online; it usually indicates heavy bias.)

That website is so absurd, you wonder if the site itself is a hoax, but it's just how some people "think," or rather, don't. That's just one archetypal site I stumbled onto, and of course YouTube videos abound.

To such people, everything is automatically a hoax if it doesn't fit their preconceived, anti-regulation worldview. Gun nuts think all mass shootings are faked to make them look bad. Global warming deniers refuse to accept any evidence that questions their fossil fuel income or lifestyle of gluttony.

Some of them seem articulate but madness comes in many forms. Unbelievable levels of denial and mental illness exist in the human species. That's what you're up against when you try to debate these clowns. No wonder the world is such a quagmire of never-ending problems. Critical, objective thinking is rare.

P.S. CO2 has long been understood as a heat-trapping gas. Deal with it and act like adults. If you see yourself as a rebel, at least fight a concept that has no evidence behind it. Ignoring evidence doesn't make it go away, except in the minds of the mentally ill (see previous paragraph).

I don't know much about global warming except for 2 things.

1) When i was a kid growing up in the north east a few decades ago, we had nice, white, fluffy snowstorms, huge piles of snow. Now, that 'type' of snowfall doesn't exist the way people in the 1970s and 1980s knew it to exist. Its different now. Why? I dont know.

2) Someone close to me lives in a cold weather city in the US and when they complain to me about the icey cold weather for months and months with no end in sight, i text them" so much for global warming".

That's the extent of my global warming knowledge.

" Global warming deniers remind me of..."

people that can think for themselves instead of following the herd.

I love it when global warming alarmist say "We know that global warming is a FACT, there's NO denying THAT" ! Because they''ve been told by Al Gore and others that are making money out of this lie that it's true.

Exactly. This thread is nothing but a prop to spread more of their propaganda.

Ooohhhh....deniers...scary

BTW, OP, you were so engrossed in including everything on your MSNBC flashcards you neglected to mention the nuts who predicted that GWB would never "give up" the presidency.

*Sigh*

So call me a global warming denier.

But I just don't believe that trading carbon credits on Wall Street is going to save the planet.
