Is it possible that there was already a human civilization that achieved great technological success thousands or even millions of years before recorded human history? A past civilization that has matched today's' technological advances and beyond but got wiped out by some natural disaster and left no sort of evidence behind of their existence?
Well, what do you mean by great technological advances?
Do you mean electronics? Do you mean flight?
Or, do you mean construction? Its well known, and easily seen, that the Egyptians and Romans were far more advanced then most civilizations for over 1000 years. We lost considerable amount of technological knowledge with the fall of the Romans. And the pyramids are awesome, no matter what civilization built them.
So yeah, they were advanced, but not like we are today.
I'd say it is doubtful. This advanced civilization would have left some evidence somewhere. Archaeologists have found evidence that fills so many holes of our past, at some point, someone would have discovered something of a technologically advanced society.

There's no evidence that there was.
On the other hand, there seem to have been some pretty amazing structures built thousands of years ago. And our mathematic system isn't anything new.
No. There is no possibility of technological advancement without man-made objects made of hard materials that would survive as archaeological artifacts. Nor of such a technology that would not have been carried far and wide by the people who used it.
The state of archaeology is such that something like that could not have slipped through the cracks.
Humans have been physiologically human for as long as 200,000 years, but there is no sign of advanced culture (art, burials, ect) until about 40,000 years ago.
For most of human existence, we have lived in small hunter-gatherer bands. "Civilization" is a new thing. We just don't appear to have done it before about 10,000 years ago, per the archaelogical evidence.
But I bet we were really kick-ass-advanced hunter-gatherers way back when.
One caveat however... human populations seemed to concentrate along coasts (and still do), so if there was "civilization" tens of thousands of years ago it could have easily been wiped out by changing coastlines and sea levels.

I wouldn't say advanced like we are now. Advancement like we have now leaves a lot of evidence of existence. If there were civilizations like our own we would be finding petrified landfills, giant tracts of housing and so on.
There may have been some instances of advancement in certain civilizations, but I do not think world wide - the fingerprints would just be all over.
One must also consider that people might have been very intellectually advanced, without showing many signs of industrialization. There might have been cultures that developed literature and philosophy to a higher level than we know today, without the necessity to make tools. Much of our development of tools came about through our need to defeat climate cycle, which meant shelter and foods that could be stored, and transportation for seasonal migration. And also for defense against louts. It is possible to visualize a culture that lived in a mild and consistent climate of plenty and had overcome a war-wish, and were insulated against invaders.. They would come and go without leaving behind any hard objects for future archaeologists to discover.
They would be advanced, without the need for technology.

But what if they were so advanced that they were able to travel at or near the speed of light. Or maybe they could have been so advanced that they achieved a method of travel that goes way beyond our fossil fuel burning, speed oriented approach. Maybe they were able to manipulate time and space and utilize inter-dimensional travel. If they were that advanced and were able to make it to a galaxy billions of light-years away, I am sure they would not of had any problem erasing any and all evidence of their existence here on Earth. Maybe the thousands of worldwide UFO sightings reported every year are former Earthlings doing a "drive-by" to check out thier old "hood."
