I saw that the Professional Bull Riding series was coming to Winston this weekend with two shows at 8 PM.

Has anyone been to this before? Is it strictly bull riding or do they also do horseback riding tricks or other things? Did you have a good experience?

This is their website: Professional Bull Riders - English for the show this weekend.

Also I see Bojangles has $10 off tickets at participating locations. Is there a list of Bojangles that are "participating." I planned on swinging by the new near 68 and 40 that just opened to check there.

Thanks for any information.

Mr. EMT

I ended up catching the Saturday show at 8pm. I'll just add information so when I forget next year and search for it, the information will be available.

Doors opened at 7 PM - parking was super easy at the Coliseum - $10.

I bought my ticket at the door about 20 minutes before start time. They had sold out of the cheap tickets (upper bowl) that were going for $18.50 (ticket price is $15, $3.50 facility fee), I got tickets for $33.50. If I bought in advance, I could've saved $10 bucks but would've had to pay the ticketmaster service fee (8-9 bucks) total cost would've been 28 or 29. The Bojangles coupon were not valid the day of the event so I couldn't use mine which I got from the Battleground, Greensboro location. Other price points were at $53.50, 78.50 and 103.50.

It was crowded, but me and the person I was with were able to move to a slightly better section between the first and second round.

It was strictly bull riding, no other side events or horseback riding. They had 13 qualified riders Saturday night. The local fan favorite for Mooresville won the night. First round had all 13 riders, then depending on their ride from the previous day and the overall rank, they advanced to the second round. Second round had the top ten riders and top ten rated bulls. Riders get to select their bull so #1 has ten bulls to choose from, #2 - 9 bulls, etc.

And some blurry pictures because I forgot my good camera at home...
