My car is in the shop with transmission problems. The shop does not specialize in transmissions, and they are having a lot of problems. I'm looking for a good transmission repair person in case they can't fix it. Thanks in advance

ETA I live in Greer I am willing to take it to Greenville or Spartanburg

Advance Transmission in Mauldin. I've had several cars done there and highly recommend them. Google for reviews.

They change my fluid. My Dad worked for Simpsonville Chevy and told me they were good but I don't believe he had any personal reason to say that.

+1 on Stegalls's. They rebuilt my tranny almost a year ago. So far, so good.

It was not a typical shop, and as far as a know it does not have a name. It's a father and son in the Marietta, SC area if anyone is interested you can PM me and I can get you their phone number
