Between 19 and 21 degrees when I left the house about 9:30am this morning. Truck intake air temp sensor read 21, the thermometer hanging in a tree showed 19.
I observed 17°F in the Upstate shortly before sunrise.
Mount Mitchell (our enjoyable nearby "Island in the Sky") recorded -4.0°F at 02:43:08 last night, and a wind chill of -27°F at 07:09:59 this morning. Source
