It's a curious coincidence that there are NO large cities or metropolitan areas in this list. I wonder if this is related to standard epidemic modes of spread, or if there is an analysis quirk.

Not to claim that there's not a serious flu problem here, but I can't find any independent evidence that it's significantly worse than any other area.
