Yes, check the labor/move section of craigslist... When I moved a few years ago there were three guys who helped me. They charged me a 3hr minimum of $180 and they had the truck loaded and unloaded into the new house in TWO hours. Granted, I didn't move far, but still.. They showed up on time, worked hard, fast, and efficiently - and absolutely nothing was damaged.

Can't remember the company, but I think the owner's name was Ed - but I could be wrong. There are plenty to choose from though, and if I ever have to move again that's where I'm looking.

We used Two Men and a Truck a few years ago in Madison, WI and they did a great job moving a family of 4 house-to-house for a short in-town move. Actual company with insurance and all that, and the two movers we got were professional and helpful people. Was a perfect solution for the big heavy stuff we couldn't (or didn't want to) move ourselves. May not have been the absolute cheapest option (was around $500 for everything), but we were happy with the results.
