I have a Bible that belonged to Michael B. Merck. It has been at my house for a long time.I do not know where it came from.It was here when I moved in this house after my dad passed away. The Bible was given to Michael B. Merck by his mother Mary L. Merck Dec 25,1973. This is written in the front of the Bible. I would really like to find the owner of this Bible. Thanks and GOD bless all that read this thread.

I'm sorry, but this post really made me laugh. I guess it's worth a shot, but I still find it amusing. If you find him because of this post, it will be quite funny to me!

Contrary to popular belief, everyone in the South doesn't know everyone else.

You could try looking in the white pages for people surnamed Merck in Greenville. Switchboard.com turned up 25 Mercks in Greenville (I didn't search the surrounding areas), but no Michael. However, they could be relatives, so it might be worth it to pull out the phone book and let your fingers do the walking, LOL. Good luck!

That has been a thought. However I do not know if this person is from the Greenville Spartanburg area.It could have come from another area.I will check into this.I know that the chances are slim and I do know that everbody in the south does not know everbody.I am just grasping at straws.I did post on here in 2006 and this year found a loved one..So that proves that there is hope. When we lose hope and faith we have lost alot......GOD bless all and thanks for the idea...

No,I don't think of myself as an angel.I am just very sentimental. GOD gives us different tasks to carry out and we should heed to what we need to do through each day.I still have a Bible that I received as a young girl. That Bible is special to me. I can just see that fellow occasionally trying to figure out what happened to his Bible from his mother.I will not give up...I will locate him or a loved one ..The loved one that I met online(after 20 yrs of not knowing where she was) was given a Bible from me that belonged to her mom and it also was left at this house. GOD's blessings on you and every one that comes near you today.Have a blessed day!!!

Default bible

I know this is an old thread but that Bible actually belonged to my husband's biological father. He passed away back in 2011. You don't still have this do you? Mary was my husband's grandmother and she passed away a few years before Mike.
