One culprit behind Simpsonville's success as an suburb lies with a rather unnoticed amenity, the Carolina Piedmont railroad. While most people think nothing of it, it is what has kept the Simpsonville, Mauldin, and Fountain Inn areas booming with new industry. It also reflects the nature of the town, as one of their locomotives is a transplant from Chicago!

^The most fuel efficient vehicles in the world parked near Cryovac. If anyone wants to see this train in person, it is always parked at this plant in the afternoon. Excuse the blurryness, I'm no professional!

It is an absolute abomonation that with the advent of the interstate traffic system we let our railroads decline and now many of the rights of way have been sold.

You are in the SOUTH. Don't you know you are supposed to lift your truck, not lower it?
