The best Subway is in Downtown Spartanburg. Subway is decent at other locations, but it's really, really good and qualitative in downtown Spartanburg.

I think it has something to do with the large population of lawyers who go there. =/

While this place is more than a traditional "deli", it has become my new favorite restaurant to purchase a delicious sub sandwich -- yes, even better than Publix Deli. Torelli's Pizzeria (facebook) in Travelers Rest (near Furman University) = Best sub sandwiches in town.

When they say "overstuffed", they mean precisely that. The bread is nothing less than phenomenal. Their pizza is very delicious as well. I am looking forward to trying their calzones next.

Greenfield's wins IMO. A great kosher deli.

Default Delis

Absolutely, Jason's Deli, as they don't use hydrogenated oils and they don't use high fructose corn syrup. Their food is great, and they have a lot of organics on the salad bar. The staff is nice and friendly. Awesome place!

Two Chefs is the best I've had here. I can also recommend Midtown Deli on Woodruff.
