I found Pelham Falls in Greer and love some of the houses next to the river (I've only seen on-line pictures). I was just wondering if there were any other neighborhoods that have lots with water/river type views?? We are looking at housing up to 340K.

Thanks!

Default water view

I looked on the Greenville Multiple Listing and saw 28 in the $280 to $340 range. They are spread from Taylors to Inman. What part of town are you looking in?

Hi - I've just been searching the internet so far. I like Greer. Simpsonville might be good too. We are coming to check out the area better in April. We are originally from Hendersonville/Asheville area, but we actually never really spent much time in Greenville while we lived in NC.

Default water view

Just looking on the multiple listing and putting in water access or water view it doesn't come up with much. I looked at Pelham Falls and there are 6 with water views in there. It narrows me down a lot when I put water view and it may be that some people are just not putting water view in when they input the listing. I even tried checking the box for river and everything goes back to Pelham Falls. I will post if I find anything else.

I actually showed two houses this evening in Pelham Falls that backed up to the river. They were very nice. My buyer had to pass, since the two we saw had no yards (not that could be used for much other than sledding). The view was amazing though; I could just imagine sitting on the screened porch after work.

If you are interested in looking at other areas of Greenville County, there seem to be some nice developments on Lake Robinson out beyond Greer. Doing a quick search, I found: Stillwaters at Lake Robinson, Lansford Pointe, Hammond Point, Pennington Pointe/Park. I'm sure there are others, too.

I just got back from Lake Rabon. There are several there if you want to be away from everything.
