This is a real post, so I wont be able to be here as often.
My best friend in life was Dx with cancer. I had to call my ex SIL and talk about this, its hard to deal with. Anyway I am at a point where I realize the petty everyday garbage people worry about is pointless. I already lost my dad years ago and have dealt with long term care issues, but , this is hard as he is relatively young.
Anyway just thanks to some cd people here I talk to. And going through this is nothing you can fake on tv.
Living through it day to day seems like a surreal thing. I have met doctors and oncologists, and many are great and talk about how medicine is changing, doctors are more "sensitivity oriented"
My brother is a trauma surgeon, but old school. Anyway just wanted to open up the forum for discussion. I appreciate any thoughts. Cancer is still a changeable, difficult thing for people.
