Well if your system doesnt have a problem with Sugar, sugar is the best.. (Cane sugar)

Dont listen to all the BS they are spewing now..... Sugar is the same now as it was in the 80s and before! (Before they started trying to scare people away from it)

Now they want you using thier artifical crap which may make you ill and then they make $$$$$ from making you better!! (Or trying to)

I agree with Dude. Natural sugar, for sure. As for me, I don't need or want much sugar in anything anymore. If I drink tea, which is rare, I add a t. of honey. Coffee, black. Birthday cake: all sugar, all the time. My ancestors only ate natural stuff, and they lived long lives, so that is good enough for me.

My family has pretty much gone along with the natural stuff too and have lived long lives for the most part. Like gentlearts I eat very little sugar. I do drink those Ensure which I am sure aren't the best but at least it helps keeps some weight on me.
My dogs are clean--hooray! The bathing did cause Bella's 2 sores to open and bleed a little leaving a few spots on my carpet but I was able to get that cleaned up and hopefully they will heal better now. Last night I felt like I entered a new zone in my life---now that may sound strange to some but with each step forward, no matter what that step may be, it is a step forward towards finding myself! That wonderful feeling has faded a bit this morning but that is why you relish those good times so much--they don't happen often and not for long enough. But I've been told with time it will be more frequent and last longer---I long for those days!
Looks like once again I am helping a co-worker out by taking her Thursday night--an 8 hour shift. Not thrilled about it because it makes it a long day/night for my dogs.....fingers crossed they can do it!
Today I feed the neighbors birds, take the trash to the dump and hopefully get to the "Y" again. I have been hearing more about cortisone shots helping arm problems--maybe I'll get lucky and be able to go that way!
Have a lovely day everyone!

Thanks for the update, cyn. Yeah, I choose regular sugar ta sweeten my coffee at work and usually pick an artificial sweetener at home, since my wife prefers those. But I have done some reading on aspartame and the information is not pretty as to what it does to our bodies. Yikees!

Good Morning. I had lunch with a good friend yesterday.............we used to see one another at church...but since I switched where I attend we dont see one another on Sundays.........but get together once a month for a LONG lunch. Friendships are too special to let them lapse....even when it takes a bit of schduling to make that happen. (She gave me some very good health care information and even a referal to a good doctor.

I will try this logic on her - now's a good time because she's really in to cooking us really healthy food right now. The timing is perfect to bring this up - why eat right if you're potentially dumping bad chemicals or poison in to your body? Thanks for the tip, you guys!
