Yes sky...it means small pocket-sized guns, usually of smaller calibers.

Some may actually be used to shoot a mouse , but these little guns are mainly carried concealed for self defense and are small enough to fit in one's pants pocket.

Have you read any of the posts in the thread? A mouse gun is a specially designed firearm that expels small rodents at high velocity from its muzzle, for use as a "less than lethal" weapon against unarmed people who fear.... mice.

When I was a teenager we used .22's to shoot flies in the house. So, carrying to shoot mice does not seem unreasonable to me.

I'd think a mouse would make a mess, so I use mouse traps. Did you have trouble with penetration on the flies?

It usually pushed them thru the screens on the windows. I was not sporting enough to shoot them in the air. We used .22 blanks as we have many from the ramset gun.

Amateurs... we used our Red Ryder BB guns to get 'em on the fly....so to speak.
