NICE... The biggest South Texas buck I ever took dressed out at 195 and he looked like a damned buffalo to me. That's a big feller.
You know, I aspire to have a full head of hear and a salt-and-pepper beard like that one day. This year I'm stuck with Waller and Austin County antler restriction and a bag limit of 8 total, no more than 4 of which may be does. I'm not likely to see a buck that conforms with the restrictions this year, so I'm going to have to be very careful about picking out fat does.
Nice animal there. I've logged over 30 hours tree stand time already for one miss. Frustrating year so far. They shifted patterns due the amount of hunters and 2 big cats making kills locally.
