Question for those that carry conceal via Ankle Carry?

I worked undercover for a couple of years and found a .38 spl Colt Cobra 6 shot at 15 oz in an ankle holster was comfortable, safe and extremely hard to notice. One advantage was the holster was the type that not only laced shut it had a calf elastic wrap too.

I talked with a couple of the people at the gun store, and the guy I trust does not Ankle Carry, but recommended several of the ones that were already mentioned, the Ruger LCP or Smith & Wesson BodyGuard in 380. But recommended to pocket carry instead of Ankle Carry. I may give that a try.

I have found that pocket carry only works if carried in the back pocket because when carried in the front pocket, it is impossible to draw the gun when sitting down and that includes when driving, which may be a time when a firearm could be needed, thus only buy a gun small enough for a back pocket and IMO buy a pocket holster, they work the best, an LCP might work well in a back pocket if your pockets are high enough.
