Okay, so a friend of mine and I are debating if taking a nair/veet bath would be a bad idea. Basically wondering if we took a tube of nair/veet and put it in a hot bath and soaked in it for a bit what would happen? Would it do the same thing as rubbing it on or would it just give you a chemical burn? I think its a bad Idea.

Would you really want nair-water going up into your female parts?

Putting a bit of nair into a bath will not act the same as putting it on and waiting for a few minutes. You may lose some hair in patches, but you'd mainly irritate the more sensitive areas of your body.

Erm, don't do it. Veet and Nair have warnings not to use on the face or in the genital area for a reason. If you get so seriously injured from it, you can't sue the company for your ignorance b/c they technically advise not to do it.

In a tub full of water it will not remomve anyhair it will however irritate you in places you may not like. Why would you want to do such a thing? And would not just FOLLOW the directions if you really want the hair removed?

It is a horribly bad idea Don't do it. Soaking your nether regions in those kind of chemicals is always a bad idea.

Nair works by denaturing the proteins (keratin) that make up your hair, causing the hair to weaken and break apart when the nair is washed off. Seeing as skin is is also made of keratin, bathing in a solution of nair and water will denature your skin on a low level, leaving your feeling irritated, especially your mucous membranes.

Nair burns the hell out of me as it is, I certainly wouldn't soak in it and definitely would not let it touch my genital area!
