Coming to Va. Beach to visit April 26th for a few days, will go down to the She Crab Soup contest at the oceanfront on Saturday, and see my family. I hope to meet one of the city-data people from Tidewater someday. Hope it warms up by the end of April!!

How was your visit? Did you get to spend time with your family?

I hope you weren't at the Oceanfront when it started getting rough down there....

I had a great time! Went to the She Crab soup contest at 24th Street. A beautiful day. Tradewinds at the Shore Drive Resort and Conference Center on Shore Drive is a great restuarant for you all. I got to pick up used clothes and gifts for my daughter from my sister and I got some nice things from Haynes Furniture on Va. Beach Blvd to bring back ! (car was packed full!!!)
I was a nice quick visit, just a shame they had that nonsense at the beach on Saturday night. It is a shame what some people with no manners, that are ignorant and don't think of others, what they can do to cause problems and make people feel unsafe. I saw some very rude behavior during the day, but just thought "I guess things have changed, and this is just the way some young people are today". But, I know now it was college weekend!!
