I will believe it when I see it. I still think we have at least 3 years before it is built if so.

Now all we need is a Wegmans. That would be super

Heck, we get a Mickey Lou's Bar-b-que and I'll be dancin on the ceiling! LOL
It's a family owned business back home, that would put McD's, Hardees & White Castle out of business.

Trader Joes is pretty great. I will be quite happy when one moves right down the street. I could walk there.....

I heard they have good coffee. Another place that has great coffee is the BP marketplace gas station. Their house blend is very good. I've found recently that the 7-11 (and believe me...I love 7-11 coffee) on Edwin @ Independence... their coffee smells like dirty sox. I think it may be the water they use, cuz the one on Baxter doesn't have that problem.

I wish 7-11 would have a return policy as well. Bad Coffee and they won't return unopened non-food stuff with a RECEIPT! :/

They used to give me their old bread / buns for my ducks, then I guess the franchise passed a policy that they had to throw it out to prove it out of date to the distributer. That's okay though, now that Home Depot is selling cracked corn, I think they like that better and the seagulls aren't chasin' my butt all over the walkway at the lake. I thought one day that I was Tippy Hedrin from "The Birds!" Those suckers wanted that whole bag of bread crumbs!

When I lived in Rochester, I loved Wegmans years ago and we left just after they started doing the superstores, but they are fabulous. We have nothing here that even comes close. But hoooooray on Trader Joes!

Trader Joe's has some excellent coffee, but boy, am I looking forward to clashing in the aisles with older snooty women who seem to not understand the meaning of "Excuse me." It seems that every older woman in the Newport News location has no manners and no matter how loud you say "excuse me" or "sorry" for being in someone's way, they will still give you the meanest look or ignore you.

I also see more minor collisions from feeder roads and the Laskin/Hilltop area becoming even more congested between 3pm-7pm.
