Hello world,
I'm a student at HU looking for a one bedroom apartment in the Hampton/Newport News area that accepts COSIGNERS somewhere in the price range of $600 no more than $650. I have been looking everywhere, but whatever is reasonable is INCOME BASED or no cosigner. I'm currently looking at SpringHouse in NN... but its a little expensive ($639) for the square footage(450). I've been searching craiges list like crazy but im not getting replies for the one I'm interested in. PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you thought about renting a room with house privelages? That would seem to be more in your price range.

I have found that most places in that price range isn't that nice nor safe. Also, a lot of them have restrictions on it and they are tight and you may fall under or over the amount a month/year that you can make to live there. Check out Cragislist for aparments and cross check them on apartmentratings.com if you want a rough ideal of how the place is.

Anyway, find you a place and visit on the weekend at night. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
