We are moving to Virginia Beach at the end of Nov and we are trying to find a safe clean and nice apartment in the area. Any advice?

Yea, VA Beach is kind of huge. What particular section were you looking to move? Brenneman Farms apartments aren't bad and are located on South Plaza Trail, kind of near Pembroke and Lynnhaven.

I don't know the area that well, my husband is from there and we are moving back. He doesn't no the area as well now because its been such along time since he has lived there. We are wanting to spend less than a 1000.00 a month for a 1 bedroom.

It is definitely on the upper end of your budget, but I would say Marina Shores in Virginia Beach, @ Great Neck/Shore Drive. You are right next to a walking/biking trail which goes through First Landing State Park & walking distance to the beach. You are also walking distance to Bloom grocery store and Hot Tuna restaurant - what more do you need ?
