2011 Kipona ArtFest, September 3rd-September 5th
Would you believe, I've lived in the area near all of my life, I live downtown now, and I have never been to a Kipona. It's a pretty big deal. Perhaps this year should be my first.

Glad to help! Kipona is definitely worth checking out. It's one of several large annual festivals along the river.
You might also want to check out
Third in the Burg . This month that falls on the 16th. It's mostly centered around the arts, but a number of local bars & restaurants will run specials that day as well.
