I finally managed to get my wife signed up on Healthcare.gov (New Jersey version) as far as a profile and identity verification. The process seems to stop there and under Status it shows In Progress. Does that mean some sort of approval is pending? She will qualify for a small subsidy as I'm retired and her PT job's hours have dwindled.
TIA for a definitive answer.
I got through on that "Live Chat" button but I believe the response was computerized. If it wasn't, there was one sullen little b**** on the other end. I asked what "in progress" meant and the answer was "It is in progress." Then I asked how I will be notified as to status and the answer was "You will be notified". When I asked how I will be notified there was no response and the session seemingly ended as there were no responses to further inquiries. So, I guess I'll wait for an email or a phone call or a smoke signal, or the pony express.
I think they should scrap it and start over. Perhaps use Canada's model? Or Costa Rica? Don't have the answers and I think neither do the feds. But I do know the more they let the failed web site sit and simmer, the angrier the rabble/masses will become over this. Even some liberal media types and dems are starting to flee the ship. If Obama would simply come out and say it was a mistake instead of I misspoke....I would find renewed faith in his leadership.
Interesting that you would seriously use "renewed", "faith", and "leadership" in the same when referring to Obama. Whatever. Lying sack of s*** would be more accurate.
