Over the past few weeks sporadically will feel dizzy and so forth. One time almost felt like passing out. I feel I contribute it to not intaking a lot of water. I am a runner so makes sense.

However, feeling it's only half of the issue. Think with my running also have to intake salt and H20. So the mix of increased water will cause my body to absorb the salt as it goes through the loop of Henley out the collecting duct.

Not sure if my logic makes sense. I probably drink 120 ounces to 140 ounces when I am working. I always have my water bottle with me. Issue is when at home the 3 other days probably only drink maybe 60 to 80 ounces of water.

I noticed a few thing's if I intake salt with water combo I will pee like crazy. Probably 2 times an hour for 4 to 6 hour's. Pee will be clear just water clear.

Also when I do feel dizzy do lazy man orthostatic vitals. Rake my BP sitting, which is low at times. Not terrible usually 110 to 120 on the top. Bottom number is between 40 to 54. Standing goes to 130 usually to 80 on the bottom.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Been increasing my sodium intake. I try to increase my potassium as well.

When my BP reading is that low, I get dizzy and nearly pass out.

I agree that your bottom number is low, and maybe that is the cause of your becoming dizzy. My dad went through a similar situation. If the dizziness persists, you should definitely see your doctor.

It is very possible that the OP has problems with dehydration. However, about six months ago; I developed a mild case of vertigo. I had never suffered from it before. I saw may doctor and they told me to do the exercises that I could find online or to get physical therapy - I went with the online exercises. It gradually improved and now is only a distant memory. Here is one site that describes it and offers treatment: Vertigo Symptoms, Causes, Risk Factors, Treatments, and Natural Remedies – Daily Health Life Styles.

That's a REALLY low diastolic number. I would definitely pass out with it that low. I have actually. And I was sitting down when it happened. What might be causing the OPs number to get that low I can't say, but it sounds worth asking a doctor to me. Dizziness, and BP numbers coming up like that would concern me. There's a fall risk lurking in any dizziness issues.

BP numbers are dangerously low. Go to the doctor and get your vitals checked, and blood test for the various intakes of vitamins, salts, potassium, etal. The doc will know what tests you'll need.

Year ago when I had dizzy spells, I was anemic from an issue which required surgery.

When my dad had dizzy spells, it was from his neck arteries getting clogged, which required surgery.

Go get checked out.
