My husband and I enjoy it 5-6 days/week and have a WAY better relationship than our friends who seem to never do it. I think it's important in relationships and for a person's own well being.
sex can be both good or bad for your health...obviously, a lot of it with the wrong people can lead to std's. A lot of it with the right person can be beneficial

I could see where it could have that effect.
I imagine that any activity which is shared and enjoyed by two friends, would result in a closer relationship.
It's fun, we get to make each other happy, and nothing beats an amazing O (or 2 or 3...) Our friends think we're crazy. We think they need to learn to have a little fun.
Does anyone need a study to know that having sex, even a lot of sex, is good for your health and well-being? Of course it's beneficial. Can't think of a better way to spend a portion of any day than for a man to submerge himself in the femininity of a woman. This especially true if the pleasure is mutual.

First, I would like to congratulate your husband.
Ok men, next time your lover tells you she has a headache, feel free to tell her "well, have I got the cure for you!". Because they say that sex can cure a headache!
And another benifit, health wise, is sex helps to increase blood flow.
And, you just may live longer! Two or more orgasams a week can increase your life span(studies say), because it releases the hormone DHEA, which boosts your immune system.
And it will improve your cardio vascular health as well. And studies say sex will reduce prostate cancer risk!
So get to it! Yeah, easier said than done. I know.
