I shower at least once daily, 7 days a week. Twice on my workout days.
If you stink and you can't shower frequently because your skin gets irritated, switch to a different cleaning product without the harsh abrasives and chemicals. For me, I use organic African black soap and unrefined shea butter as moisturizer. And I'm a dude.
I generally shower weekdays before work and Sundays before church. I often skip it on Saturdays unless I'm going someplace where "spiffing up" is required or I've done something to get filthy, but just as often I'll shower twice on at least one weekday in the summer after doing yard work, so 7 times a week would be a good average.
Skipping a shower on a day when I'm going to be out in public isn't an option for me, not because I have a BO problem, but because I have very stiff hair that tends to look a little wild in the morning and can't be tamed by anything short of washing it. I figure if I have to wash my hair I might as well wash everything else while I'm at it.
I shower every morning.
I shower after I work out, which is approx. 4 times/week.
I shower if I'm going somewhere special in the evening, like a party or a show.
Also, if it's very hot out and I've gotten sweaty, I'll take a quick shower before going to bed.
