A new study shows that men who have been castrated live up to 19 years longer than non-castrated men. As for the question, would you sacrifice your balls right now to extend your life by 20 years?
Quote:
Castration had a huge effect on the lifespans of Korean men, according to an analysis of hundreds of years of eunuch "family" records.
They lived up to 19 years longer than uncastrated men from the same social class and even outlived members of the royal family.
The researchers believe the findings show male hormones shorten life expectancy.
The study done of these Korean eunuchs involves "families" from hundreds of years ago. In other words, while the non-castrated men were out fighting wars and doing manual labor, the eunuchs were tending to indoor palace duties. I'd bet that WOULD lead to longer lives...
