There are days when I’ll drink say around 1l in the afternoon and won’t even need to go pee for almost the whole day and if I do then I’ll only void a small amount but then there are days where I could drink the same amount and I’ll void a fairly large amount, near the 1l that I had drunk. What’s the reason for this variation? Is this just normal and dependent on the individual?
During the times when I’m not voiding much, my urine is rather concentrated so a lot more yellow than the times when I void a fair amount, where it’s diluted and looking very clear. I've never had any pain, no straining, burning when urinating, good flow, no other physical symptoms really.
I did stop the mirtazapine/remeron about 3 weeks ago now so I don't think I'm having withdrawal symptoms.

Are you talking about water and only drink it once a day? I drink water all thru the day and my urine is pretty clear. I probably drink 40 oz water thru the day and a lot of it is sipping, but 8 oz glasses too.

Oh no, I'm drinking ALOT more than that. I drink several cups of tea a day but this is something I have done for many years and never really noticed a difference in urination habits until recently.

I don't have an answer for you but for me-I notice I urinate a LOT through-out the morning hours then it eases off into the evening. No idea why.
I had a DRE and to my surprise, the doctor said it was slightly enlarged however it was very smooth and normal in that regard. It shocked me because I didn't expect someone my age to have this but the doctor wasn't overly concerned about it and said it's not abnormal and this can happen and it's nothing hugely to worry about. Nevertheless it's got me really anxious now. He gave me a PSA form so I'm going to go and get that done. I realise that prostate enlargement is a benign condition and there is no link to cancer but I don't know, I'm a little worried. Am I right in thinking that the smoothness and surface/texture of the prostate is more important than the actual size?
He thinks that my symptoms are more likely due to a slight over-active bladder than anything else.
I should also mention in relation to the enlarged prostate and a reason why possibly it could be in my case is that I have mas-bing on average once a day since I was around 13/14 years of age. Now that is quite alot of mas-bion and I know this has a connection with your prostate right? Is there any connection with prostate enlargement and m?
Also on the morning of the DRE I had mastb'd about an hour/1.5 hours before it so I don't know if that too had an effect.
