Have you tried this?
I don't really see how it would make any real difference, unless you're self-propelling a chair over some pretty rocky terrain. But, that's just after seeing the video, not actually trying it.

Thank you! I've sent the link to my friends in manual chairs. I need a power chair trike since my stupid chair gets stuck and my family has to push and tug my massive and heavy chair when I get bogged down.
They say the listen for my battle cry of "STUCK!!!!!!!" when we are off pavement. Poor Babies - I guess it is a good thing that I had sons!

I'm hoping some folks here will benefit from this knowledge and will share with others.
I've been in a wheelchair several times... never on a surface that wasn't flat/paved though. I've just test drove them, so to speak... I'm blessed to have never needed one.
I'd still like to hear from someone who has tried this.

I'd like to hear that as well.
I've only ever used them to push others but let me tell ya what a PITA is is to push them over rocks, steps, cracked pavement etc. I'm sure as hard as it is for me, it is 10xs more uncomfortable for them.
I've had MANY incidents where they were lucky i didn't forget to strap them in or else I would have tossed them right into the air and onto the ground!
