Has anyone here dealt with a paralyzed vocal cord, on just one side, for several months? The nerve can regenerate and mine did at 4.5 months. I was excited to talk again!! How we speak, what we say and just having the opportunity to talk to someone in person, on the phone or even placing an order at a drive thru is such a big deal.

After about six weeks of having my voice back, that same nerve was exposed to a toxin and I can't talk again.

Does anyone else here deal with vocal cord paresis? I've learned so much from my speech therapist this time. Please post if this pertains to you or someone close to you.

TIA,

MSR
