Not sure if anyone has had this issue before, but I have to re-occurring blister on the fingerprint side of my finger, the blister is flat and covers the top half of the finger print, there appears to be liquid inside as when I use my finger (ex. typing on keyboard) it feels tender to the touch and it feels as if I had a pad between my actual skin and the outside of the finger.. Not only is it bothersome but it LOOKS terrible! It looks yellowish and my skin is constantly peeling in the area, some people have asked me what is wrong with my finger tip, it looks as if I have some kind of disease which is embarrassing.. I mentioned this to my doctor a few months ago and was told not to worry about it and to come back if it didn't go away, it went away for a few weeks and then came back, I honestly haven't had the time to go back to the doctor just for a finger issue.. Any advice on how to get rid of this?

Wart. See a Dermatologist. I had one that looked like a blister but it was a wart.

I second the wart. The only other theory I can think of, would be if something like a sliver had gotten embedded deep in the tissue, and maybe it's trying to work its way out... that would cause reddishness and an inflamed area... but since you mention an open sore, that's definitely worth having a doctor check out.
