I was in labor for 36 hours and the pain was beyond belief. The last few hours were so bad I was going into shock. It took 11 months to recover. I told my husband before I would try and endure such agony again I would seek an abortion. When I finally recovered I had a tubal ligation rather than have to abort if I got pregnant again. I had wanted 2 children but after that kind of agony, worse than any kind of torture, I settled for the one.
Toss up between a massive heart attack,open heart surgery,or two herniated discs in my lower back. All of them have laid me flat on my back unable to move.
