It's all very weird. I KNOW there was blood in a stool sample I did but it came back clear as did my blood test. Doctor said something was a little high but nothing in the unusual range. That said, I am still waiting on a calproctein test which I know will be abnormal. I can't have been this ill and have healthy markers in terms of blood work and stool. It is very weird.

Remember, you promised that, if you didnt have cancer or other serious physical condition, you'd get psychological help/counseling.

If I hear nothing back from the doctors about an abnormal reading, I promise to get help for my anxiety.
I hope you do. I suffered from anxiety way too long. It's a total waste of your life to worry about things and jump to conclusions. Even if something ever turns out to be wrong, I think the anxiety is worse than any actual diagnosis.
I hope so Poppy as this anxiety right now is overwhelming. Rib feels sore today and have an aid reflux type feeling yet the diarrhoea and bleeding seems to have stopped.
I think it is obvious nothing any of us can say is going to change her mind. She knows she has cancer, knows she will die and now has sore ribs or a sore rib. I think I am just going to skip out of this discussion as it is going nowhere fast. Some people thrive on attention or on negative thoughts.
Jennie: I do hope you get nothing except good reports on all your tests and I have to wonder why your doctor isn't requesting a colonoscopy? I would think that would be one way to make it even clearer to you that you do not have cancer. Please go see someone that can help you with your anxiety sooner not later. You keep talking about how ill you are,but it seems you have bleeding etc but nothing more.
Take care Jenni, get the help you need. Life doesn't have to be this way.
