Our kid would like to return home for a few weeks. We haven’t seen each other since lockdown, and he was still doing internship and taking classes, even though we asked him to come home. We are in our early 50s and our other child is 18. We’ve not been out too much unless to get groceries and take out. Is there a risk of bringing my college kid home, knowing he was around and out more? I’m so torn...

A small risk, for sure. Our daughter came home during Spring Break mid march, travelling through Boston and Seattle. We are both in early sixties. Neither one of us were concerned much about it. She did not interact with anyone outside the family for the entire two weeks, per our states' quarantine restrictions. No one got sick.

She will also be coming back in June. My wife actually wouldn't mind being exposed as she'd like to get it over with. I'd rather not, but no longer fear the virus.

Thank you Arktikos! We’re facing a dilemma because quarantine for two weeks , as you and our doc suggested, is not feasible. He wants to go back to his apartment. I called our doc to see if it makes sense to have him tested. It’s complicated..
