Today I have seen the surgeon who is to do the op and I now know I am to have a silastic joint on the 31st of March 09, which he has recommended has anyone else had this kind of replacement?
I feel better now that he has told me all about what is going to happen. I will be in hospital for one night and then go home to rest for a couple of weeks. I also asked if I would be fit to go back to Spain in May and he said yes, so I am now hoping that everything goes to plan and I am OK walking after the op. Any comments to this?
