Are the A.M.A., Doctors, Big Pharma trying to squelch new developments in curing cancer and other diseases so they can continue making lots of money by treating symptoms brought on by these diseases.
This is a hard one, because if they try to obstruct any progress in finding treatments or cures for cancer, they do it to themselves and their families and friends.
I do believe though, some would do this, just like the oil companies not wanting a gas-free engine for cars.
Some people are that cold and calculating.
But there would be other diseases still in need of treatments and cures, so it's not like everything would be gone.

It is a great question. I guess we'll never know. I believe the people who are in these professions really believe that they are doing ALL that's humanly possible to find disease cures and have figured that maybe there's no cure for certain diseases period. A lot of what medical professionals are saying is basically heresay and surface investigation.
Well, the pharma/chemical industry are the ones that make pesticides and herbicides and other dangerous products which harm our health and cause cancer in some... then they make billions of cancer treatments.
What we need to do is focus on prevention and finding the root causes and eliminate them, rather than just fighting the result. However, there isn't as much money to be made in that, so consequently I firmly believe that more efforts and money are directed at treatment of cancer, instead of prevention.

Who cares and forget them as Stem Cells, Gene Therapy and RNA Interference technologies are exploding in their research and currently with Phase I, II and III trials are going on all over the world to cure the incurable diseases that will leave the Pharma companies behind in the future.
In a free market, individuals will be driven to come up with a cure for cancer as quickly as possible, before their competition, so that they can earn a fortune selling it to the public. What you're talking about can only happen when the government runs health care and prohibits competitors from entering the market (or makes it impossible to compete). You'll find the biggest crooks in the government-entangled large corporations — the coercive monopolies.

Doctors are always telling patients that vitamins are a waste of time but most common ailments stem from a B vitamin or magnesium deficiency.
The only "delusion" is that snotty comments like the one above will get your point across more clearly.

Complications from Measles usually go hand in hand with Vitamin A deficiency.
That's why it is treated with vitamin A.
That is why kids in the US rarely have complications
