It seems there's lots of literature on the "Gilded Age" in America and in Europe, etc, but did Canada and Australia go through the same sort of prosperity and cultural revolution during that time period? Are there, for example, significant landmarks, pieces of art, literature, architecture, etc from those time periods in both Canada and Australia? Is it recognizable in these countries today?

I don't know if they did, but at one time, the tallest buildings, according to some sources, in the British Empire were in Vancouver, BC. The Dominion Building (1910) and then the Vancouver World Building (1912) (now named Sun Tower). (Vancouver is a wonderful place to visit; the pictures don't do it justice.)

Except I did Google the term. The former British colonies ( States after Federation in 1901) went through a similar period after 1855 due to the massive immigration and wealth produced by the discovery of Gold in 1851.
Many older buildings in Melbourne reflect the Era, as does the architecture of the Gold Mining towns of Ballarat and Bendigo in Victoria, and to a a lesser extent, Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The Gilded Age was a period of rapid economic expansion in the late 19th century characterized by unbridled corruption and greed by the money class and politicians. It’s usually referred to as something that characterized America during that period of our history. Australia and Canada certainly experienced a smaller version of a Gilded Age due to a less developed economy. Swindlers and crooked politicians are just about everywhere.

Indeed... except the Gold Rushes of the 1850's profoundly changed the former penal colonies into lands of free thinkers and free settlers. The flow on effects of the Gold rushes in terms of wealth and cultural renaissance were the catalyst for the founding of Australia in 1901.
