First off, I love history. And after seeing this image below, it got me thinking.
Some of those inventors linked up to their inventions, I was never aware of before. Because the image doesn't show any sources, are there any listings on there that are incorrect? If so, which ones?
So many are so downright laughable (the guitar was invented in 1886?) that a better question might be if a single one of the inventions is properly attributed.
It wasn't a guitar, it was an adaptation of the guitar that Flemming patented. Likely there are other cases on that list that are similar, where somebody patented an improvement or adaptation. Some, like Charles Drew and Garrett Morgan, legitimately invented new products or procedures. More research would be needed to see how many on the list are the former and how many the latter.
Maybe the previous poster can help by pointing out the ones that are laughable.
I remembere an online friend from Maine who argued with me over the inventor of TV and the telephone.. she had two different people to the ones I was taught at school...Logie Baird and Alexander Bell.

In other words; are you referring to the those men listed to be co-inventors?
What "the moment in black history" poster should have said was that Frederick McKinley Jones designed an air conditioner unit for trucks transporting perishable materials. This design led to the formation of Thermos King.
Its crap like this that in its **** poor attempt exalt achievements by African American serves at the same time to diminish them.

I suspect that the list was made as a spoof or prank. There are too many idiotic claims.
On July 17, 1902, Willis Haviland Carrier designed the first modern air-conditioning system. How could Frederick M Jones "invent" it in 1949, forty-seven years later?
Ben Banneker invented the Almanac in 1791? Really? Did Ben Franklin know that? Poor Richard's Almanack (sometimes Almanac) was a yearly almanac published by Benjamin Franklin, who adopted the pseudonym of "Poor Richard" or "Richard Saunders" for this purpose. The publication appeared continually from 1732 to 1758.
Turning the subject away from the tripe of the claims posted, there were many REAL inventors who got shafted. Edison alone was a master and intellectual property theft.
You can visit Civil War homes (1861-1865) where they claim that certain doors have the same door knobs that they did in the war.
Perhaps Osbourn Dorsey invented a better door knob, as did literally hundreds of other people over the years, but this list oversimplifies things to the point that it makes the list not that useful and degrades the work of others.
