If i'm correct Hitler idolised Frederick I (Barbarossa) Holy Roman Emperor 1155-1190 as he named the 1941 invasion against the Soviet Union after him although i don't understand why Hitler admired him over all the German leaders. What did Hitler think of Germany's powerful Chancellor Otto Von Bismarck 1871-1890. What about the powerful Germanic Prussian kings during the 1700's and 1800's or Charlemagne the Germanic Frank known as the ''Father of Europe''. What about the powerful Germanic Goths (Aleric I) who conquered the Western Roman Empire or the powerful Germanic Vandals (Geiseric I) who sacked Rome and almost sacked Constantinople simutaniously.
