I have prints under glass in a guest bath and they are fine. Admittedly, this bathroom doesn't get daily use. I think if you use a spacer or mat and seal the back, you should be OK.
I have photo art in both my bathrooms. One is used every day and the artwork, which is right next to the shower, has held up quite well.
I took photos, had them enlarged and then cut them up to frame the sections for an interesting arrangement. (In the photo below, it appears that there are discolorations and cracked glass, but that's all just an illusion created by the light.)

If you are worried, make copies of the pictures and then you have nothing to worry about. But I did nothing special to mine and they are fine with at a minimum of 2 - 3 showers daily.

I've had my framed photos in both bathrooms for 7 years with no damage. If the frame is secure and the ventilation is adequate, I dont see why you'd have to worry.
If the photos are framed with a mat so the photo itself isn't touching the glass (which is the way it's supposed to be done all the time, I think) then there probably won't be any problem. Of course, they should be hung somewhere that won't get direct water splattered on them. Also, a ventilator fan might be useful if there is a whole lot of humidity there. You could ask the frame shop folks, perhaps there is a desiccant backer board of some sort for use in high humidity areas?
