I think I like Benjamin Moore Wedgewood Gray. Is that the new "hot" color I'm looking for? How would you analyze this color? I think I'm looking for turquoise toned down by gray. I can't get Benjamin Moore where I live. Is there a similar color in Ace Hardware paint? Thanks!

Can you get a swatch of the BM color and have your local paint shop match it? Home depot does this all the time.......

Kelly, You are right that many Ace stores carrry BM paint. I never knew that. However (go figure) mine doesn't! They can match a chip, so I guess I have to find a chip. :-) Thanks to all. -cityflair

Benjamin Moore can match other manufacturers colors, but no other manufacturers can match BM. You'd end up with their closest match, whatever that may be, and you might or might not like it. However, you can order BM online and have it shipped to your house.

ETA: I'd get Valspar if I couldn't get BM. I'm not saying have Lowe's match it to Wedgewood, but instead finding a shade in Valpar that you like just as much. Even though I think the world of Valspar, their technology is not the same as BMs.

I have benjamin moore wedgewood grey in my bathroom. It's not a grey at all. It's a dead on robin's egg blue. Misted green by benjamin moore is more of a neutral grey blue.

Thanks. Do you have a photo? I already bought the paint. I got it at Ace. It was Ace paint (couldn't afford BM) made with the Wedgewood Gray color formula. I love it, but don't where I'm even going to use it. :-) I was thinking about a hallway. I just need a little change after eight years of the same paint.
