The site is wonderful. I've bought a lot of merchandise at both homedecorators.com and homedecoratorsoutlet.com. The outlet is for merchandise that was sold on the main suite and where there is only a limited quantity left. Prices are often discounted from 40% to 70%.
Customer service is great and shipping is fast. I dont know about the SOHO stuff but everything I've bought on both sites (including many large furniture pieces, outdoor teak sets and fragile tiffany-style lamps) has been top-notch quality. I've bought from both sites at least 30 times and have never had a problem or a bad purchase.

I believe the company is owned by Home Depot actually. At least all the catalogs I've received have the Home Depot logo on them, and you can use your Home Depot card there. So it's backed by a big name.
There are several things I've found on the site too that I'll probably get once we're ready for new furniture.
They were bought out by Home Depot about 1-2 years ago. However, I bought from Home Decorators and Home Decorators Outlet both before and after the buyout and didnt notice any reduction of quality, customer service or shipping.
