The final TCO was-
2016- 31,081
2013- 28,862
So the 2013 would save $2,219 over a 5-year period.

Those figures are based on a purchase price of $18,342 for the 2013 and $26,352 for the 2016. The TCO also assumes driving 15k miles per year and above average credit for calculating the financing. The 2016 is calculated at 0% APR based on Honda's current finance offer.
Something is wrong with that calculation. You get $10,000 for the purchase price alone.

2012 was also the last year of the 8th generation Accord (2008-2012). The 2013-present Accord is a better car in all respects.

I just test drove a 2012 accord ex-L and lived it. Its my first accord test drive. I loved the wood trim and cloth/leather seat were perfect for me. But I wanted 2013 due to change in design. But there doesn't seem to be many 2013 version out there. All I see are 2012

My future car will be a Honda accord EXL coupe from 2013+.

I'd love to have the 2016, because it has improvements, especially apple and android connect.

Not a fan of the 2016 front grill.

A lot of 2013s will be coming off lease this year, so if you can wait a few months, you'll probably be able to find a 2013. Most leases are 36-months.

Wasn't the 2013 Accord available in lat Fall of 2012? If so, the 3 year off the lease should have started in October of last year.

There are other choices as well that are about $1,000 more than the one posted.

Is it common for Accord owner not to get their maintenance done at CARFX recognize place, like the dealership. I saw 3 Accord carfx today and they didn't have regular maintenance information. Some had big milestone like 25k miles but regular oil Change wasn't there. Prior to today I have been focusing on toyota product (Camry and corolla) and most of the CARFX had detail maintenance information on Toyota product

I loved everything about the Accord except for radio/entertainment center. Everyone seem to have moved to touch screen system, knobs feel outdated.
