Best Selling Sedans - AOL Autos

Apparently a lot of people do like the cars GM is producing. Last month they had three mid-sized sedans in the top ten.

You do realize that a Pontiac (car #10) is a GM product right?

Could be implying that the G6 and the Malibu are pretty much the same car.

I was just thinking about something. If GM only made one or the other and they managed to combine those sales under one umbrella think about how they may rank on polls like these.

Excellent point, drjones.

I firmly believe the same would apply if General Motors were to merge the almost identical Chevrolet and GMC Pick-Ups and Trucks.

Now if they could figure out how to put cars in the "top ten" and be profitable...they might just have something.

Glad to see a Pontiac in there, also the Ford Mustang at #13. I think the dealers have been really aggressive about selling the Chevy Impala. I have seen commercials where they are actually priced just less than 13K! In some cases.

Maybe if Honda hadn't made the exterior of the the 08 Accord sedan so ugly, they wouldn't have dropped. Plus, the Malibu is an extremely well-made car and I love it's looks.

Honda's looks have been getting worse and worse, and they appear to be taking short cuts on attention to detail as well as quality. I don't think the American car companies will ever make a car that can go 300K+ miles with virtually no problems the way Honda can.
