I have many cleaning tools and I think I do need them all.
I have one swiffer, one hard floor cleaner, one upright vacuum, one handheld vacuum, one broom. one steam mop. I don't have a closet to put them in, so I put them in my kitchen. They makes my kitchen looks messy. I don't want to put them in the basement, but it is inconvienient. So how should I deal with them?

What kind of a nutty question is that? Just a minute while I get my crystal ball and look inside your home from here so I can give you some good suggestions.

Seriously what are you asking?

Hi
Buy a tall cabinet about 5 or 6 feet tall, , 2 feet wide and 12-16 inches deep with doors that you can close. They are available from walmart (and the like ) and home depot( and the like) They are heavy, and may need assembly, so get some help. Put a container inside on the bottom so that it traps any possible moisture from the mop; VOILA!

I have the same exact problem. It's frustrating. I may have to check into those cabinets QIS suggests; I have space for one but I would want it to look nice, too.

Hang some on the inside door to your basement. And for future reference don't buy so many redundant cleaning tools.

If your refrigerator has a wall on one side of it, hang some hooks and put broom and whatever else will fit there. Put vacuum in linen closet - I've never stored mine anywhere else. Put everything else under a bed. Under beds are wonderful storage areas when "real" storage is tight.

Wow, you have a lot of cleaners/mops. Out of your list above, I only own three: 1 vacuum, 1 mop, 1 special microfiber cleaner/mop for hardwood floors.

I have a basement attached to the kitchen. There is a hook rack on the wall with about 6 strong hooks on the basement wall so I don't have to walk all the way downstairs to retrieve the cleaning things. The hook rack is nailed pretty high up, about 6' to allow everything to hang freely. Very convenient and organized.

We're building a new mudroom/utility room to deal with this "problem".

It's kind of sad because our house is on the a-bit-too-large size and we actually have plenty of storage....it's just in the wrong place!
