I have a Delta Monitor shower faucet. I get luke warm water when I rotate the handle counter-clockwise to the maximum setting. There doesn't seem to be issues with the water pressure. I checked water from other areas of the house (i.e. kitchen) and I'm getting hot water. I just can't get hot water coming out of the shower faucet.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you have to replace the Delta cartridge/balancing spool? Any help would be appreciated.
Have instruction books but need to figure out how to copy so it is readable, but found this for you, should help. Has all the valve cartridges in the book and how to adjust.
If the valve isn't that old, I doubt it's the mixing valves. More than likely its the "anti-scald" that needs adjustment.
You can find pdf's on Delta's website for manuals.
I do not think it matters what section. The link I posted earlier will give you the info you search for. Scroll down to Pages 5, 10, and 14 it covers all the Delta Monitor valve cartridge adjustments
