I have laminate flooring in my house. I have been witnessing a huge amount of Wax build up on my floors. Attached is the picture. How can I clean it up? What machines do I need to buy to buff it out?
There are wax remove products but the cheapest way to remove was is a mixture of water/ammonia. Spread with a sponge mop, let it stay awhile to dissolve wax. Remove with clear water.
I'd test the ammonia and water first in an inconspicious spot.
Laminate should never be waxed and only use cleaners which specify for use on laminate floors. And none of that Mop N Glo.......or whatever they call the clean and shine stuff now.
Is Ammonia too strong, kid friendly and will it destroy my laminate flooring since it is too strong?
